Tathqeef is an organization that helps Arab women go on to further education.

 

Traditionally it is not encouraged for women in the region to be ambitious and want to make their mark on the world. So we interviewed 8 trailblazers, including the world's first Arab professional photographer, a NASA scientist, an environmental crusader and a young innovator and got their advice. Their quotes were then turned into portraits of each lady's veil using traditional calligraphy. This showed the latest generation of Arab women that there were no barriers to what they wanted to achieve.

The campaign was voted one of the best of the year by Campaign magazine. Winner of a Bronze Lion at Cannes, the Grand Prix plus 3 silvers and 3 finalists at Dubai Lynx.
